Ryan is a tutor, coach, and freelance medical writer. A former full-time journalist, Ryan has been tutoring students in writing, English literature, history, research projects, social sciences, Spanish, lower levels of math and science, study skills, and test prep for nearly a decade. He also coaches middle- and high-school football, basketball, and baseball at local independent schools.
 

After growing up in Rockville, Ryan earned his Bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis and Master's degree in journalism from the University of Maryland. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys skiing, visiting local beaches, and practicing hot yoga.
