Born in Venezuela and raised in Caracas and the U.S., Naila earned Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from the University of Maryland. Upon graduating, she returned to Venzuela and quickly gained experience and recognition promoting products for Johnson & Johnson, FIAT, SmithKline Beecham, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), and many other companies. After eight years, she even founded her own design firm.

 

Her teaching experience began after she married and was blessed with two beautiful daughters. It was when the girls’ pre-school principal noticed that they would speak some words in English (thanks to their mother’s efforts) that Naila was asked to teach toddlers between ages 2 to 4 years old and became known as "La Teacher". As the girls transitioned from pre-school to elementary, their friends would come by for play day to learn English. Soon Naila was hired by a well-known international school in Caracas, while still maintaining her design firm in a freelance capacity.

 

She has since moved back to the U.S. where has been tutoring Spanish to her friends’ children. Before long, she was referred to Jill Broder’s Tutoring Center and became an easy fit for the team. She inspires students with her positive energy and ability to communicate, making Spanish easy to learn.
