Maria Antokas is a dedicated tutor with over 15 years of teaching experience, including a decade at Bullis School and additional roles at Strayer University, Montgomery College and Colorado Tech.  Her background in economics, business, personal finance, and entrepreneurship education allows her to bring real-world insights to her tutoring sessions, making complex concepts easier to understand.

Maria uses her technical skills in Canvas, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office to ensure her students feel confident both in their academic work and in using technology. With a personalized, approachable style, Maria helps students build skills, improve their grades, and gain the confidence they need to succeed. Maria has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Columbia University and a Master’s Degree in Economics from N.Y.U. She is also the founder of Maria Antokas Publishing – a publishing company for Indie Authors and the creator of The Bookaholic Blog.
